Cosmetically, this 1947 model looked unlike anything built to that time. The overall shape and detailing was thoroughly modern at the time and they looked surprisingly simple, yet these trucks had a rugged elegance. The odometer is showing 48,943 miles. I am selling this car for a close friend of mine, so please do not contact me, but call him with any questions, comments, or offers. He has an extremely nice Chevrolet collection and he is now 'thinning the herd' - so to speak. He is very particular about his classic vehicles as you can tell from the pictures and details on this truck. Check my feedback for my trustworthiness. All of this information I got from Banks - call him with questions, comments, or offers. This is a 1972 Chevrolet Cheyenne Super C10 half-ton two-wheel-drive regular-cab pickup truck. It has (he thinks) the original 350 engine (unmodified), the original automatic transmission, and the original rear end. (Engine pad is stamped 17DJ - all we could read) It has 60,000 miles showing on it which he thinks is correct. It has COLD factory air-conditioning, power steering, power brakes, tilt wheel, and factory AM radio. It has a near-perfect arrow-straight body with excellent paint. It has never had any rust. It has the original paint on the truck cab and the hood. It has obviously been recently restored throughout (looks like a frame-on) and was done right. All outside and inside is near perfect! The bed wood is new. It comes with the original bill of sale and the original Protect-O-Plate. EVERYTHING* on the car works perfectly! (* except the gas gauge does not work - has had a new sending unit installed) A true no excuses truck! Drives literally like brand new! Banks is the third owner of the truck. It comes with only a notarized bill of sale and a current Alabama tag receipt in Banks' name. This is all that is necessary to get it titled in any state in the US. 4x4 works great! lot's of potential! previous owner started cab restoration, little surface rust on cab hood and engine bay if it doesn't sell, i plan to paint it gloss black, add a lift, and some sweet rims bed needs rust removed from backside of wheel well needs new speedometer cable (i think) frame has surface rust carb needs rebuilt as it idles to high no matter what i adjust externally has two gas tanks, switch operates on dash but does not let you know how much is in one of the tanks needs brake work needs interior door panels needs front wheel bearing attention as i see grease slightly coming from it bumpers are bent need replaced needs a rear light on the license plate free title in hand new battery, new starter, new front steering linkages, new shocks (not installed in rear) comes with camper top i have 2 regular chevy grills and one gmc grill that go with it i have some custom "smoked" tail lights that go with it brand new Truck Avenger carb in box goes with it

This is a very nice 68 Chevy C-10 pick-up truck short bed with a 350 engine and a mild cam .The engine was rebuilt about 30k miles ago. It has a 700r automatic transmission. The truck drives and shifts good with no knocks or smoke . This is no trailer queen or show truck and it does need some work to make it perfect . The bed floor and rails have rust, but the bed floor has been covered with pressure treated wood and covered with a new tonneau cover ..The cab rails have rust at the ends and body bushings need replaced if you want to really make it perfect, but it doesnt effect the way the vehicle drives The frame rails are in great shape and new metal has been put in the floors and rocker panels . The body is in good shape and the paint shines well. To make it a show truck you may have to go back and block the body better, but it really looks good as it is. It has a 4 core radiator with an electric fan. The thermostat you can set to what temp you want . The truck does not have a/c but, does have a good heater . The windshield has a little fogging going on at the bottom but the rubber seal looks new. All the windows have been tinted to 5 percent and the door windows will need the felt fuzzies put in which are like 45 bucks on ebay. It has new headers and new turbo mufflers which sound good . It has an aftermarket tack and new B&M Z-Gate shifter .It does not have power steering or power brakes and the drivers door does not lock .There has been alot of work done to the truck but it is 43 years old. The gas tank has been removed from behind the seat and put under the bed with a nice gas door and looks great .It comes with a new battery and all lights and signals work good . Also it has a good trailer hitch and the 20 inch wheels look great. The stereo system sounds great. It has a Pioneer supertuner 3 with a great amp and 12 inch kicker comp subs and 6 inch door speakers ... It has new carpet and I will put a set of floor mats in it too I just forgot to do that .The doors close smooth and the truck rides good to be 40 plus years old .It does have a clear south Carolina title . I know I forgot some stuff, so please ask if any questions, and if you need pics of a certain area let me know ..
