1993 Chevy Topkick LoPro in great condition. Very Cold A/C. Perfect for local or long haul usage. 203k miles. This truck has no issues. It was a U-Haul truck, I bought the truck from U-haul as they upgraded their fleet. Weight 11,400lbs wet. 18,000lbs max. No CDL required to drive. I am active duty military, I bought this truck because the Gov, paid me to move, I also had to move stuff from several locations across the US. So instead of renting a truck for 800 dollars each trip x3. I decided to take the risk of buying a vehicle and selling it to cover my moving costs. If you want to see the truck, and you are not close, U-haul still has a few that they have not retired yet. It does have a loading ramp. The only rust on the the truck is the rear heavy duty bumper. Nothing serious it could be left alone, its not noticeable unless you look underneath. Because it was a fleet vehicle, you can rest assured knowing that it had all of its scheduled maintenance done on time and by qualified mechanics. Here is a list of things that I check out before I bought it. I've put about 2k on it, I haven't had an issue at all. The truck runs great on the highway, it drives straight and is not difficult to drive.Tires - good in front excellent in back Brakes - 4 wheel disc brakes. All good.Battery - Less than 1 year old.Cooling system - Good, transmission oil cooler fins could be groomed but no effect on temperature noticed.Air Conditioning - VERY COLD - when the truck is turned off there is a clicking sound coming from the blower motor. I guess its a door that lets air in from the outside. It's stuck.. No issue though.Heater - ExcellentLeaks - none... A leak I would describe as a drop that would appear on a clean floor if you drove the vehicle on it. The engine oil pan looks exactly as you would expect from any engine with over 50k on it. The rear diff has had dampness that came from the vent. All I would consider normal.Box- Clean. A few scratches on either side. The door opens smoothly and closes and locks properly. The ramp is works great and is very easily deployed.Cab - The interior is clean. There is one cigarette burn on the driver's seat. There is a 5 inch long tare. The upholstery still covers the tare, it was caused by people climbing in and out of the cab. Could be easily repaired upholstery glue.GAS. Gas used to be a bad thing, people think that a gas engine life span is less than that of a diesel. That is not entirely true, this is an industrial motor. It was built to last. It doesn't have the problems you have with carburettors. (Its TBI) It will also save you a lot of money if you ever do need engine work done, because you won't need a diesel mechanic. MPG Diesel engines may give you about 1-4mpg better but the price of diesel now averages about 30 cents per gallon more. 1993 Chevy Topkick LoPro in great condition. Very Cold A/C. Perfect for local or long haul usage. 203k miles. This truck has no issues. It was a U-Haul truck, I bought the truck from U-haul as they upgraded their fleet. Weight 11,400lbs wet. 18,000lbs max. No CDL required to drive. I am active duty military, I bought this truck because the Gov, paid me to move, I also had to move stuff from several locations across the US. So instead of renting a truck for 800 dollars each trip x3. I decided to take the risk of buying a vehicle and selling it to cover my moving costs. If you want to see the truck, and you are not close, U-haul still has a few that they have not retired yet. It does have a loading ramp. The only rust on the the truck is the rear heavy duty bumper. Nothing serious it could be left alone, its not noticeable unless you look underneath. Because it was a fleet vehicle, you can rest assured knowing that it had all of its scheduled maintenance done on time and by qualified mechanics. Here is a list of things that I check out before I bought it. I've put about 2k on it, I haven't had an issue at all. The truck runs great on the highway, it drives straight and is not difficult to drive.Tires - good in front excellent in back Brakes - 4 wheel disc brakes. All good.Battery - Less than 1 year old.Cooling system - Good, transmission oil cooler fins could be groomed but no effect on temperature noticed.Air Conditioning - VERY COLD - when the truck is turned off there is a clicking sound coming from the blower motor. I guess its a door that lets air in from the outside. It's stuck.. No issue though.Heater - ExcellentLeaks - none... A leak I would describe as a drop that would appear on a clean floor if you drove the vehicle on it. The engine oil pan looks exactly as you would expect from any engine with over 50k on it. The rear diff has had dampness that came from the vent. All I would consider normal.Box- Clean. A few scratches on either side. The door opens smoothly and closes and locks properly. The ramp is works great and is very easily deployed.Cab - The interior is clean. There is one cigarette burn on the driver's seat. There is a 5 inch long tare. The upholstery still covers the tare, it was caused by people climbing in and out of the cab. Could be easily repaired upholstery glue.GAS. Gas used to be a bad thing, people think that a gas engine life span is less than that of a diesel. That is not entirely true, this is an industrial motor. It was built to last. It doesn't have the problems you have with carburettors. (Its TBI) It will also save you a lot of money if you ever do need engine work done, because you won't need a diesel mechanic. MPG Diesel engines may give you about 1-4mpg better but the price of diesel now averages about 30 cents per gallon more.
