42 ford rat rod pickup. chopped 6 inches, sectioned 4 inches. Tallest point on the truck is 52 inches. the cab is plenty long and tall inside. there is 3 inches of ground clearance, the truck is always that low, it does not have airbags or hydraulics. It has a 4 inch drop tube front axle with a single leaf spring and front disc brakes. aluminum radiator, the truck always runs cool, wilwood dual brake master cylinder, 1988 chevy 10 bolt rear axle with drums and parallel leaf springs. 1988 chevy 305 v8 with a 200R4 automatic tranny. New edelbrock carb with a new air scoop, hand made headers with supertrapp inserts. frame is custom made it is 3X2 rectangle tube .125 wall, z'd 8.5 inches in the front and 16 inches in the rear reinforced and gusseted at all joints. Custom made stainless steering column with 3/4 sealed bearings. old vega or corvair steering box, not sure. but steers very easily. not sure what the bed and taillights are from. smoked safety glass windshield, plexiglass rear, no side windows. suicide doors, with bear jaw latches, the doors open and close very easily. lots of custom made or custom modified parts on this truck, its fun to drive, its reliable and it gets a lot of attention. I built this truck and made it very easy to work on, and tried to keep it simple. all wires, brake lines, fuel lines, everything is easy to access. there is no speedo. there is a clear ohio title, but the serial numbers on the cab are not legible.
